UNITY AT THE LAKE             January 9, 2026

January 11, 2026:  Talk Title - "It’s Time To Go Fishing!"  Luke 5: 1-7 Abundance comes through us when we fish for ideas in the deep realm of Spirit. Regularly listening to the Christ within opens us to divine intuition and guidance, and gives us the confidence to express the gifts of our soul. Putting our sacred gifts into circulation opens the floodgates for joyful good to come through and to us! We look forward to hearing this exciting lesson from Rev. Anna Shouse, Ph.D.

Rev. Anna is an ordained Unity minister who has joyfully served ministries and ministry leaders since 1995. She is dedicated to the ever deeper awakening of herself and all people to the Jesus Christ path of expression of the Christ within—the inner spiritual life--so that we may live with meaning, integrity, service, and abundance. Her focus is the development of sustainable, enlivened spiritual communities utilizing Unity’s Christ-centered principles integrated with self-awareness and healthy relationship skills. Rev. Anna is active in service and teaching in the Unity movement. She currently serves Unity leaders through Soul Works Mentoring, and speaks and teaches at Unity churches. Rev. Anna holds a Ph.D. in Communication and Human Relations from the University of Kansas and an M.A. in Addiction Counseling from the Hazelden-Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies. 

CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR GEORGE TANKERSLEY:  George Tankersley, a longtime member of our church and friend of so many, made his transition on January 2. A celebration of life will be held at the Kidwell-Garber funeral home in Laurie tomorrow, January 10, at 11 a.m. Please attend if you can to give condolences to his wife, Kathy, and the family.

CHAIR YOGA TOMORROW:  Join us tomorrow, December 27, for chair yoga at 10 a.m.  with our facilitator, Cathy Babin. It’s a great opportunity to stretch those muscles and get some exercise! The cost is just $7.

CREATING CHANGE FOR PERSONAL EMPOWERMENT:  Tomorrow is the day! Jessica Tipton will be blessing us with a chance to create change for personal empowerment. “Experience the power of Psych-K to transform limiting beliefs and cross the bridge from desire to reality.” Saturday, Jan. 10 is the day.
