UNITY AT THE LAKE       APRIL 23, 2026

APRIL 26, 2026:  Rev. Warren Teachout’s talk title this week is "The Spiritual Life Made Simple." Micah 6:6–8 calls us back to the spiritual essentials: aligning our minds with Truth, our hearts with compassion, and our walk with Divine guidance. This talk explores how justice, kindness, and humility arise naturally from our spiritual inheritance. Together we’ll remember that the spiritual life is not something we earn — it’s something we live from within. We’re looking forward to seeing you Sunday!

CHAIR YOGA IS BACK THIS SATURDAY: Cathy Babin will be back this Saturday leading our chair yoga class at 10 a.m. Come on out and get limber!

HARBOR HOP TRAINING THIS SUNDAY: Thanks to all those who signed up to be dealers for Harbor Hope. Judy Kleuser will be holding a training session after our service on Sunday. If you signed up to deal, please stay for the training!

LOVE IN ACTION - “It’s time to share our love”:  You will find a list of Laurie Care Center residents in our fellowship hall who receive few or no visits from friends or family. The Love in Action team is looking to remedy that situation with visits to these folks from members of our congregation. The list also provides preferred visit times on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Let’s lift their spirits with short visits of thirty minutes to an hour. Your help in putting Unity’s Love in Action to work is greatly appreciated. Blessings from the Love in Action Team!

SPRING FOOD DRIVE:  We have a bin out in our fellowship area for the Spring Food Drive. Your generous contributions benefit Community for Christ. For several years now, Unity at the Lake has served its community by donating many pounds of food to help those in need. Please consider a donation this spring!

THE RIDE: You will go through periods of malaise. You will go through periods of great energy. What if your word for the source of being is Joy? Why then, you would realize it is all Joy. Do not despair when your mood dips a bit. LIFE goes in cycles. There are fallow periods and times for reflection. There is always something new around the corner. Ride out the low periods. Surf boldly when atop the crests and do your best to enJoy the ride.
